Gini: The Art of Veronese Excellence
The Gini family has been deeply rooted in the volcanic hills of Monteforte d’Alpone since the 1600s. While globally revered as the definitive masters of Soave Classico, the estate also produces a limited, powerhouse collection of Valpolicella and Amarone, bringing the same precision and organic integrity to the region's most iconic red wines.
The White Legend: Soave Classico Gini’s Soave is defined by ancient volcanic soils and a pioneering "no-sulfur" approach during vinification. Their most prized asset is the Contrada Salvarenza, home to rare, century-old pre-phylloxera Garganega vines.
-
The Style: Expect incredible mineral tension, white floral aromatics, and a signature flinty finish that allows these whites to age gracefully for decades.
The Red Icon: Amarone della Valpolicella Applying their centuries of expertise to the Valpolicella hills, Gini produces an Amarone of extraordinary depth. Using traditional appassimento (grape drying), they craft a red that balances power with the family’s signature elegance.
-
The Style: A masterful blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, Gini’s Amarone is celebrated for its lush notes of dark cherry, chocolate, and spice, all held together by a refined tannic structure and surprising freshness.
The Gini Philosophy Whether crafting a crisp white or a monumental red, the Gini brothers focus on purity and patience. Every bottle is a tribute to the heritage of the Veneto—crafted with certified organic grapes and a deep respect for the natural rhythm of the vineyard.
