This is refined and nuanced for a marselan. Sweet blackberries with touches of graphite and dark chocolate. Rich and flavorful but also elegant, with silky tannins and a very long, lightly gritty finish. Probably the best marselan I’ve had from China.
Produced with grapevine of French origin, this limited classic from Domaine Franco-Chinois is aged in French oak barrels for upwards of 16 months to showcase the Bordeaux blend’s dry red attributes.
