Leesy nose with preserved nectarine, roasted pineapple, treacle tart and a sweet, toasty character that evolves to some ginger bread. Medium to full body with nice tension, driven by snappy but natural acidity and a taut mineral texture. Love the mid-palate texture and verve, but needs more freshness to the nose.
The name “ShiBaiPian”, A Hundred Poems, originated in the 8th century, by the work of beloved poet DuFu, “Ode to Eight Wine Immortals”.
Crafted with grapes from the best blocks in our highland vineyard, Site 16, and harvested at night to preserve their freshness, our Reserve whites are a testament to the perfection of nature and the precision of our winemaking techniques. After three rounds of hand-sorting, the grapes are pressed before going through natural low-temperature clarification and thermo-controlled fermentation, followed by aging in French oak.
