The 2020 may have been considerably more concentrated than this vintage, and yet there is something more mellifluous, intuitive of feel and graceful to this 2021. A salty lead of preserved lemons, quince, tangerines and stone fruit. Incisive mineral precision and wet pebble complexity. This would make a worthy replacement for a top Chablis. Volcanic and alive. Scored on drinkability quotient. From organically grown grapes.
The legend behind the name 'Salvarenza' tells of a young woman named Renza, who, threatened by bandits, was saved by a noble knight in the very place where the grapes for this great cru are grown.
