Description
[section break] [Tasting Notes]
Cirrus High Eden Valley Single Vineyard Riesling is named after the type of clouds that can be seen above High Eden Valley. It is from a plot with vines grown on their own roots and like Freya, it is whole bunch pressed, fermented to dryness and left on its lees for 4 months with another year in bottle to mellow before its release. The wine is pale green with vibrant white current, grapefruit and fresh lemon juice aromas. The palate is refined, with great intensity and freshness, finishing with a flicker of mineral texture.
[section break] [Food Pairing]
Fish, shellfish and crustaceans are ideal pairings, especially served with a touch of lemon, capers, butter sauce or Asian dressings.
